Food Pantry Donations

Please note...the food pantry is for food donations, not clothing.  If you have clothing items, they can be donated directly to Wellspring in Hull, Goodwill or the Salvation Army. 

JUNE 2022 DRIVE

Our Hingham Food Pantry Drive will be underway for the month of June! The mission of the Hingham Food Pantry is to benefit any Hingham resident who cannot afford an adequate supply of food. Clients receive a six-day supply of food, and when necessary, referrals to other community agencies who might assist them. The pantry has been able to continue to provide neighbors with groceries to feed their families with generous donations from our community. Hingham Food Pantry uses any monetary contributions that they receive to purchase fresh produce, dairy items, meats and fish, sliced bread, paper goods and soap products.

Please look for our Food Pantry Drive display in the Narthex of St. John’s. In addition, please note that donations can be dropped off in the bin at the side entrance of St. John’s Church or checks can be made out to the Hingham Food Pantry and mailed to The Episcopal Parish of St. John’s, 172 Main Street, Hingham, MA 02043.  Thank you so much for your continued support of our food drives!

These are the items that the Hingham Food Pantry has requested of us for our upcoming drive:

• Pasta Sauce (plastic jars preferred)

• Packaged Cookies

• Flour, 2 lb. or 5 lb.

• Mayonnaise, small jars (plastic jars preferred)

• Dried Fruit, raisins, cranberries, etc.

• Nuts
